This timepiece possesses all the assets of beautiful watchmaking, including its movement, the GP033M0. Composed of 287 parts, this calibre features remarkable finishes and was entirely developed and produced by the Girard-Perregaux Manufacture.

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 therefore pays homage to the brand's innovative spirit and illustrates its creative freedom, a combination of watchmaking excellence and style. Unsurprisingly, it has now established itself as one of the brand's emblems.

Blancpain for the Only Watch 2011Presented Villeret Grand Decoration

Only Watch charity auction by Prince Prince Albert II of Monaco sponsored, since 2005 biennial charity event; Swiss watch brand Blancpain, for September will soon come to Only Watch charity auction presented "Villeret Grande Décoration" watch.

This year’s charity auction Only Watch is going to feature a number of one-of-a-kind watches from best Swiss watch-makers. The participants are Breguet, Patek Philippe, Louis Vuitton and a lot of other well-known brands including Blancpain.

Blancpain Villeret Grand Decoration watch 45 mm x 8.3mm red gold case make this watch really special. The Villeret Grand Decoration watch is also equipped by Blancpain Calibre 15 B, an ultra-thin hand-wound movement. The cambered grand feu enamelled dial covering it consists of only 12 painted enamel hour-markers and two hands in the red gold. On the back side there is detailed picture of the Rock of Monaco with surrounding landscape. This exceptional engraving of a typical Monegasque scenery introduces the Rock and its hinterland.

Its white enamel dial with painted hour-markers and red gold hands suggests simplicity and elegance; on the back, a depiction of the Rock of Monaco and the surrounding landscape is rich in detail.   The hand-decoration on this one-of-a-kind watch was performed by Blancpain’s Master Engraver Marie-Laure Tarbouriech, to whom I say that much credit is due.

It’s their 7th contribution to the auction. The timepiece they are going to present at Only Watch 2011 is Blancpain Villeret Grand Decoration.

Orient M launched the new Force SEL03001D Diver Watch in 2011

Orient M is the world famous watch brands. Orient M launched the new Force SEL03001D Diver Watch. Its a wonderful watch with a super new movement from Orient.

Being a newer watch the M-Force has an upgraded movement that features automatic and hand-winding. Previous generation Orient automatic movements did not had the option to hand-wind the movement. Now they do. Plus, the movement features a hack seconds feature which.

The M-Force models are fun and sport looking with a functional edge. They are comfortable on the wrist and feel tough enough to be beaten around. While similar in demeanor to many Seiko dive watches, Orient pieces feel a bit more classically inspired, versus Seiko which often features fun and futuristic concepts.

What I have always liked about the dial layout is that the power reserve indicator does not significantly detract from legibility. While not a testament to innovative design, the M-Force's dial is functional and visually stimulating. You have large applied hour indicators, and both they and the hands are well-coated in luminant.

The steel case is 46mm wide and it wears extremely comfortably. I have to also add that Orient watches by and large are very comfortable on the wrist (at least mine). The case design of the M-Force is interesting a looks like a slight interpretation of its older sibling.

As far as I know it is one of Orient's most expensive watches and certainly at the top of their diver collection. This M-Force Diver model is more modern, but considered a mid-range model between the more pricey Saturation Diver and Orient's lower-end offerings. It is further accompanied by a similar watch called the Orient Revolver diver.

The famous Harry Winston launched the new Ocean Sport Collection Watch in 2011

Harry Winston as the "King of Diamonds" in the field of fine jewelry break their own place in the world. Harry Winston launched the new watches, Harry Winston Ocean Sport Collection Watches.

They are 44mm wide in satin finished Zalium cases. According to Harry Winston certain sections of the case are DLC coated. With sapphire crystals over the dial the cases are 200 meters water resistant. They look to have diver style bezels, but the bezels don't appear to be the types that rotate.

Carved out of  Zalium Alloy the new watch collection is said to have the latest in cutting edge technology. Each watch features the Harry Winston trademarks including prominent arches and angular pushers on either side of a Zalium crown. The mens collection features two models including the Ocean Sport Automatic and an Ocean Sport Chronograph.

The Ocean Sport will have a few versions, and pieces for both men and women. Style wise they feel very much influenced by some Roger Dubuis pieces from the last few years.  What connects each of the Ocean Sport watches is an aesthetic theme as well as a Zalium case. Zalium is a special titanium alloy unique to Harry Winston watches. Connected to the watches are either black or white HW branded rubber straps.

The womens collection also features two models the Ocean Sport Quartz and the Ocean Sport Chronograph which comes in silver or slate-toned. The official launch is set to take place at the  SalonQP watch fair at the Saatchi Gallery in London next month.

For the ladies there is a Ocean Sport Ladies Chronograph in a polished Zalium case that is 38mm wide. It has diamonds on it as well as a different style of dial and case. There really are a lot of differences between the men's and women's models. Inside the Ladies Chronograph is an automatic movement. There is also a smaller 36mm wide two-hand Ocean Sport Quartz model. This one has just the time and minutes with a Swiss quartz movement on the inside.

With its dark tones, different styles of chronograph subdials and increased complexity, the Chronograph however might be a more interesting watch.
