Glashutte Original launched new PanoMatic Luna ladies watch in 2011

In 2011, Glashutte Original takes a German film “Woman in the Moon” as its creative origin and launches the PanoMatic Luna series watches. Glashutte Original signed cooperation plan with Berlin Film Festival. Inspired by the 1929 German film “Woman in the Moon”, Glashutte Original released brand-new PanoMatic Luna Watch this year.

The diameter is 39.4mm. The watch uses stainless steel and carries a Cal. 90-12 self-winding movement. The sapphire mirror surface of PanoMatic Luna shows the fine craftsmanship. The double-swanneck vernier device invented by Glashutte Original makes the operation and adjustment of the movement more precise. Like other classy movements of Germany mechanical watches, the Cal. 90-12 self-winding movement shows some traditional elements of Glashutte watches such as the three-quarter plywood, blue screws and other Glashutte unique adorning items.

the moon is a feminine symbol. As a result, the PanoMatic series was born. There are two models of this series. The watch dial crafted from mother of pearl sends out the enchanting gloss. Another model has a black eccentric dial. The bezel is decorated with 64 pure diamonds. The nice moon phase is displayed on the dial whose background is a silver sky full of stars. The large date window and diamond crown delimit a perfect period for the watch.

Glashutte Original provides two version of new PanoMatic Luna watch, shining white MOP dail or mysterious black dial. The bezel is set with 64 pure diamonds. The hour markers are also diamonds. The elegant moon phase display locates at two o’clock. Big date is at 4 o’clock. The most important feature of this new watch may be its diamonds. Even the crown is also set with diamonds.
